Drunk In Love

Beyonce feat. Jay Z

Show Me

Kid Ink feat. Chris Brown

KRISTEN YOONSOO KIM: I’m laughing because, sorry Kid Ink and Chris Brown, you didn’t think you had a chance, did you? Umm, “Drunk In Love” is the winner here — by a freakin’ landslide. “SURFBORT” is possibly the best thing to have come from this past year
My Vote: “Drunk In Love”

ERIKA RAMIREZ: “Drunk In Love” is a collaboration between music’s biggest power couple that both men and women will sing to, in public, shamelessly and sober (although it’s more fun to croon when you’re not sober). Hearing Bey & Jay Z give us a glimpse into their dirty minds is the cherry on top.
My Vote: “Drunk In Love”

JAMIESON COX: I like "Show Me" a lot: it's a great example of DJ Mustard's simple, squelchy arrangements, and its deployment of Chris Brown as a hooksmith nonpareil is perhaps the optimal use of Brown's thin voice and good melodic instincts. But "Drunk in Love" is a monolith, sultry and smart and funny and already timeless.
My Vote: "Drunk in Love"

NICK WILLIAMS: You can’t argue against a husband and wife dropping an instantly iconic anthem like “Drunk In Love,” literally the perfect follow-up to their 2003 duet “Crazy In Love.” This song also ushered in Beyonce’s new era of post-marriage and Blue Ivy, as well as her surprise fifth LP. Confident and unabashed, the track shows the singer taking down some of the walls built up around her over the years, and also brought all things Surfbordt into the world, which we should all be thankful for.
My Vote: “Drunk In Love”

JEM ASWAD: You can’t be serious.
My Vote: “Drunk In Love”
