Lea Michele Teases an Old Friend's Return to 'Glee'
Spoiler Alert! Right before Glee officially wrapped up production, Lea Michele teased that Jonathan Groff will return to the show one last time.
Michele first sparked the rumor after posting a snapshot alongside her former Spring Awakening co-star on Twitter this week. E! News later confirmed that Groff, who plays Jesse St. James, will appear on the series finale, marking his first appearance on Glee since season three.
On Friday, Michele also took to Twitter to reflect on the show which made her a household name.
"I can't believe tomorrow is our last day at glee. It is going to be such an emotional day. But I'm so grateful though to have had ..this incredibly amazing experience. Thank you so much to all of our amazing Gleeks who supported us so much! I love you guys," she wrote on Twitter. "We were so lucky to have had the most amazing crew who worked so hard everyday to make the show amazing. I'm so grateful for them. So thank you all again so much from the bottom of my heart. I will miss Rachel Berry so very much."

Michele, who released her album Louder in 2014, has already lined up her next project. She will re-team with Glee creator Ryan Murphy on the upcoming Fox comedy series, Scream Queens.
She will join Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Joe Manganiello, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer and Ariana Grande on the show.
