Following rumors that Nick Cannon's new album next year would stir "controversy" with lyrics about his divorce with Mariah Carey, Cannon took to Twitter saying it's untrue.
"I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey We are forever a family rooted in love," he posted.

He continued to state "please respect my family and respect the process" and then told off the "vultures and bottom feeders searching for a story."
Earlier this year, Cannon released his second studio album, White People Party Music. He and Carey split in August.
