N.E.R.D is back: the group made up of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley worked together on a song for the upcoming The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water soundtrack. The resulting tune, "Squeeze Me," was compared by Hugo to the Beatles' "Yellow Submarine"; judge for yourself below.

N.E.R.D -- best known for songs like "Rock Star," "Lapdance" and "Hot N Fun" -- released their last album together, Nothing, in 2010. That was long before Pharrell's recent career renaissance, in which the producer reinvented himself as a relentlessly cheerful Hot 100 auteur with songs like Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" and Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."

Before Williams' "Happy" became the No. 1 hit of 2014 on the year-end Billboard Hot 100, the song was featured on the soundtrack to Despicable Me 2, for which Williams composed the score. The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water hits theaters on Feb. 6, 2015.
