Rita Ora Says Calvin Harris Was 'The Right Guy at the Wrong Time'
Rita Ora spoke about her breakup with Calvin Harris for her December cover story in Cosmopolitan -- apparently long distance claimed another couple. "There's only so much you can do when you don't see each other," Ora told the magazine.
The breakup has come up frequently for the singer. In August, she claimed Harris prevented her from performing a song at the Teen Choice awards because he wrote and produced the track. Harris shot back on Twitter, "I choose not to talk to the papers about every aspect of my personal life." The next month, Ora ended an interview after someone asked about her ex.
Things were less dramatic in Ora's latest interview. "It was the right guy at the wrong time," she said. "I was about to start a tour, and he was also all over the place... I really admire people who have long-distance relationships. It's an incredible achievement. I couldn't do it."
Calvin Harris's new album, Motion, comes out next week. Ora's new album is supposed to come out in the U.S. in January.
