Usher & Stevie Wonder Play Multimillion-Dollar Fan Wedding

Best rehearsal dinner ever? That award might go to Kaily Smith and Adam Westbrook, the couple whose carnival-themed, pre-wedding bash in Dana Point, California, last night included live performances from not one but two multi-platinum artists: Usher and Stevie Wonder.

TMZ reports that the bride's father Mike Smith, a natural-gas magnate, foot the bill for the event, which took place at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, included a massive Ferris wheel, and reportedly cost several million dollars (the entire wedding, according to TMZ, will cost a cool $5 mil). Photos from the event obtained by TMZ show the bride- and groom-to-be onstage with Usher singing along.

To comply with local ordinances, guests were reportedly given headphones so they could continue to listen to the performances, which ran well past noise curfew.

Wonder arrived at the Orange County resort from Washington, D.C., where he and Katy Perry performed at a White House celebration in honor of the Special Olympics just 24 hours prior.
