Priyanka Chopra's New Song Tapped for Beats By Dre Ad (Audio)

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is getting ready to release the third single from her forthcoming debut album, a cover of Bonnie Raitt's classic ballad “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” and the EDM-flavored track looks like it will have a big boost courtesy of Beats By Dre.

The headphone giant, founded by Interscope Records chairman Jimmy Iovine (Chopra is signed to Interscope Geffen A&M) and rapper-producer Dr. Dre, will feature the Manual “Manian” Reuter-produced "I Can't Make You Love Me" in an ad campaign for the Beats Pill XL portable Bluetooth speaker. It will run nationwide from May 1 through May 25.

“This is one of my favorite tracks on the album," says Chopra in making the announcement. "It's my ode to a classic, a song that I love, and one that says so much." (Read more about Chopra's connection to the song in this THR Q&A with the singer.)

In the past, Beats has helped break several hit songs (not coincidentally, all from the IGA stable of artists) including Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Aloe Blacc's "The Man," catapulting the tracks onto the radio and subsequently, the charts.

Meanwhile, the video for "I Can't Make You Love Me," featuring actor Milo Ventimiglia, is set to premiere on April 30.
