Simon Cowell's "Britain's Got Talent" topped the Saturday-night ratings in the U.K. again with an average of 9.31 million viewers, according to ratings data.
However, the figures were down about 1.8 million from the prior week's season-eight launch episode of the ITV talent competition, which became the highest-rated season opener ever for the show. The season opener had drawn 11.1 million viewers on average.
The second episode attracted 45.5% of British homes watching TV at the time. The show featured a young knife thrower and a teenage singer, among others.
