With still over two months to go until the release of her upcoming album, Taylor Swift is already smashing records: Early Saturday morning (Aug. 26), her lyric video for <a href="/articles/columns/pop/7941969/taylor-swift-look-what-you-made-me-do-acidic-departure">"Look What You Made Me Do"</a> had the most views within 24 hours of its debut than any other lyric video in YouTube history.

"Look" was watched more than 19 million times in the 24 hours after its release early Friday morning (Aug. 25). As of Saturday evening, the video had almost 28.5 million views. Watch below.

Swift surpassed the record previously held by The Chainsmokers featuring Coldplay, whose <a href="/articles/news/dance/7709334/chainsmokers-coldplay-youtube-record-day-views-lyric-video">"Something Just Like This"</a> lyric video hit 9 million views in a day back in February.

"Look" is the first single from Swift's sixth studio album, <a href="/articles/columns/pop/7941019/taylor-swift-reputation-new-album">Reputation</a>, scheduled for Nov. 10 release. 

She gave a <a href="/articles/columns/pop/7941957/taylor-swift-look-what-you-made-me-do-video-teaser">sneak peek</a> at the official video on Good Morning America on Friday morning (Aug. 25), ahead of Sunday night's (Aug. 27) <a href="/articles/columns/pop/7941961/2017-mtv-video-music-awards-taylor-swift-look-what-you-made-me-do-video-debut">debut at 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.</a>
