Once again, pop and urban music have merged for a powerful collaboration. Sebastian Yatra, Jonas Brothers, Natti Natasha and Daddy Yankee released “Runaway” late Thursday (June 20), and the accompanying music video will make fans very happy.
The clip, directed by Daniel Duran, starts with Yatra touching a TV screen. The walls then break down to reveal a big colorful fiesta with Yatra, the JoBros, Natti and Yankee.
The cross-cultural collab features each of the guys trading off verses with and trying to woo Natasha, who plays the love interest. Los Hermanos Jonas even take a shot at singing in Spanish, while Natasha, Yatra and Daddy Yankee sing some lines in English.
"How nice to do a family project for this great song," Duran told Billboard about the project. "Working with Daddy Yankee, Natti and Sebas always makes me happy, and it makes me even happier to see how the Latin culture continues to expand by watching the Jonas Brothers sing in Spanish. Good to be part of this story."
