It took three decades, but The Offspring finally made it to Bethlehem on Saturday (September 8) to play their first concert in this eastern Pennsylvania town, where the SoCal band peppered a diverse crowd at the Sands Event Center with 90 minutes of punk-pop hits and new tracks from their ninth album "Days Go By."
This week on the Billboard 200, Linkin Park triumphed over Maroon 5, securing the rock band its fifth No. 1 album on the chart. The former's new "Living Things" sold 223,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan, while Maroon 5's "Overexposed" shifted 222,000 to enter at No. 2. The pair were among four new arrivals to the top 10, where the "Maybach Music Group Presents: Self Made 2" compilation also started at No. 4 and R. Kelly's "Write Me Back" bowed at No. 5.
Keith Urban will undergo a minor throat surgery later this month to remove a polyp from his vocal chords, a rep for the singer announced on Thursday. The out-patient procedure will require the Australian country star to spend an undetermined amount of time on vocal rest.
