Buzzed about in fan circles for weeks, it's now official: Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has a new solo album titled "Ukulele Songs" that will arrive on May 31 in tandem with a live solo DVD titled "Water On The Road.
Zac Brown Band bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with "You Get What You Give," giving the country act its first chart-topping album. The set sold 153,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan . . . In the runner-up slot is the debuting "Hands All Over" from Maroon 5, with 142,000. Four more albums also enter the top 10 . . . On Digital Songs, Bruno Mars returns to the top with "Just the Way You Are" selling 188,000 while Far*East Movement rallies and the kids from "Glee" debut at No. 10 with "Empire State of Mind."
Linkin Park claims its fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with "A Thousand Suns" opening atop the list with 241,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The rock band beats out R&B singer Trey Songz, as his "Passion, Pain & Pleasure" debuts at No. 2 with 240,000. Jamey Johnson, Robert Plant, Weezer and Brandon Flowers also start in the top 10 . . . On the Digital Songs chart, a new No. 1 is crowned, with Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)" debuting in the penthouse with 249,000.
