This week on the Billboard 200, Linkin Park triumphed over Maroon 5, securing the rock band its fifth No. 1 album on the chart. The former's new "Living Things" sold 223,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan, while Maroon 5's "Overexposed" shifted 222,000 to enter at No. 2. The pair were among four new arrivals to the top 10, where the "Maybach Music Group Presents: Self Made 2" compilation also started at No. 4 and R. Kelly's "Write Me Back" bowed at No. 5.

Noel Gallagher's post-Oasis career was given a resounding vote of confidence by British music buyers Sunday (23) when his self-titled album with new group the High Flying Birds, on the Sour Mash label, debuted at No. 1 with sales of 122,000, according to the Official Charts Company. Rihanna's "We Found Love" (Def Jam/Universal), featuring Calvin Harris, began its third week atop the singles chart.
