New releases from Staind and the Deftones top The Billboard 200 this week, extending the reign of rock on the album chart. Staind's "14 Shades of Gray" (Flip/Elektra) sold 221,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, to give the hard rock act its second No. 1 debut. The Deftones' self-titled Maverick/Warner Bros. album, meanwhile, enters at No. 2 on sales of 167,000 copies.
