After promising fans there would be a sequel to his 2009 comeback album, "Relapse," Eminem [1] now says there will be no "Relapse 2."
"There is no Relapse 2," the Detroit rapper tweeted [2] this morning (April 14). It was the rapper's first tweet since March 29th, in which he promised "some big news is coming. Soon," reigniting rumors of a "Relapse 2" release [3].
In an interview with AOL's the BoomBox last month, producer Just Blaze [4] indicated that "Relapse 2" was near completion, saying, "I'm out in Detroit and we're wrapping that ['Relapse 2'] up now." Other leaked tidbits about the album came last year courtesy of Em's friend and producer The Alchemist [5], who told AllHipHop.com that the album sounds like "the most psychotic s---s I've ever heard," and DJ Whoo Kid, a member of Eminem's D-12 crew, who told MTV that "the crazy, lyrical, maniacal Eminem is back. Maniac!"
