Now that the "American Idol" results are in [1], it's time for winner Lee DeWyze to make his mark as a recording artist much like he did on TV. That process is already underway, as the studio recording of DeWyze's debut single, a cover of U2's [2] "Beautiful Day," was released this morning (May 27). At press time, the track is at No. 4 on iTunes' Top Songs.

As for fans still mourning MamaSox's loss to the paint salesman, Crystal Bowersox's debut single, a cover of Patty Griffin's [7] "Up to the Mountain," was also released today and currently sits at No. 11 on iTunes.
