"Sade? Jay-Z? Both icons and both major influences of mine," Keys said in a statement. "I am overwhelmed by their generosity in helping us continue the tradition of making the Black Ball the best fundraiser in NYC. There are more surprises coming up! Stay tuned!"
The Black Ball event has been raising millions of dollars for years with past performers such as David Bowie , Justin Timberlake , Chris Martin , Common , John Mayer , and Bono .
