While Eminem  loses his No. 1 standing  on the Billboard 200, he remains perched atop the Billboard Hot 100 for a seventh week with "Love the Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna . The song tops Radio Songs for a fourth frame, improving to 159 million listener impressions (up 3%), according to Nielsen BDS, while downloads sales slip 12%, according to Nielsen SoundScan, though the track rebounds 3-2 on Digital Songs.
Katy Perry  becomes the latest threat to end Eminem and Rihanna's stay at No. 1, as "Teenage Dream" takes both the Airplay and Digital Gainer awards with a jump from 3-2. A bump in download sales (259,000, up 24%) gives the singer her third chart-topper on Digital Songs, while an 11-7 bounce on Radio Songs (84.3 million, up 30%) ups her top 10 tally on that list to five.
Of her radio singles, only "Thinking Of You" (No. 55 peak) has failed to reach the top 10 on the Radio Songs tally. Back in the Hot 100 top 10, Perry's "California Gurls," featuring Snoop Dogg  continues to accumulate points towards securing the 2010 Summer Song crown , with a single-slot jump to No. 7. The final 2010 Summer Song ranking will appear on Billboard.com next Thursday (Sept. 8).
Taio Cruz's  "Dynamite" had looked like a serious contender to the Hot 100 throne, but the song takes a step back from 2-3 this week mainly due to download erosion (down 11% to 178,000). Airplay continues to increase, with a 3% improvement to 131 million listener impressions, good for a No. 2 standing on Radio Songs.
Holding steady at Nos. 4 and 5 are "I Like It" by Enrique Iglesias  and "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" by Usher , both featuring Pitbull . For Usher, the song is one of four he places in the top 40 of the Hot 100, the first time he has done so as the lead artist on each track. His former No. 1 "OMG," featuring will.i.am , ranks at No. 20 and "There Goes My Baby" fades 33-40, while he soars 88-25 with "Hot Tottie." The release of his new EP "Versus" helps stimulate sales of the latter song with 52,000 first-week downloads, In addition, Justin Bieber's  "Somebody To Love," on which Usher is featured, lifts 97-71 with a 60% digital gain (31,000) thanks to that song's inclusion on "Versus" and the deluxe edition of "Raymond V Raymond," which combines his most recent studio release with the new EP.
Bruno Mars motors 9-6 with "Just the Way You Are" and Mike Posner descends 7-8 with "Cooler Than Me." Taylor Swift's  "Mine" makes a quick return to the top 10 after a one-week break, rebounding 14-9. With radio play continuing to rise (18-12 on Radio Songs, up 20%), downloads increase for the first time since the track debuted three weeks ago (97,000, up 11%).
Ke$ha  earns the fourth top 10 from her debut set "Animal,"  as "Take It Off" takes off six spots to No. 10. The song is her fifth top 10 of 2010, if we include her featured appearance on 3OH!3's  "My First Kiss."
Kid Cudi  has the Hot Shot Debut at No. 22 with "Erase Me," featuring Kanye West . The preview single from his upcoming sophomore set "Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager," due in late October, shifts 99,000 downloads.
Another notable debut comes from Cee Lo Green , who opens at No. 96 with "F**k You!," the song that broke out on YouTube and has now reached radio and retail . With just a partial week of sales, the track, currently only available for purchase in explicit form, moves 21,000 downloads. Expect a notable jump on the Hot 100 next week.
