It's been less than a year since Snoop Dogg released his last LP, "Malice in Wonderland," but the West Coast legend is already recording a follow-up with Swizz Beatz . In a video posted from the studio last night, Tha Doggfather revealed that the in-the-works album is no ordinary Snoop CD -- it's the sequel to his 1993 debut classic, "Doggystyle." From RapRadar :
The news comes less than a week after Snoop's headlining performance at Rock The Bells in New York on Saturday (Aug. 28), in which he played "Doggystyle" in its entirety. Snoop says that Swizzle "just laced my boots up" for the sequel; no word on a release date, but we can't wait to hear what the pair comes up with.
Snoop also enjoyed a hilarious conversation with Jimmy Fallon on his "Late Night" show on Tuesday (Aug. 31). The rapper talked about his youth league football team, offering to make "gangsta gumbo" with Martha Stewart, and why he's been dropping hints about wanting to become an "American Idol" judge. "I like that show, and I think that show is missing some pizzazz, and I can give it what it's missing," says Snoop.
