Lady Gaga Gets Restraining Order Against Fan
Lady Gaga  has reportedly gotten a restraining order against a fan who has written disturbing letters to the pop star. Anastasia Obukhova, 26, wrote to Gaga, "I want to die and I want to die together with you. I am not [John Lennon killer] Mark Chapman. It is not only you who will die. I will shoot a bullet through my head, too." Obukhova has allegedly been ordered not to come within 500 yards of the singer. ( Digital Spy )
Justin Bieber To Rap On Lil Twist Mixtape
Justin Bieber 's rapping career might finally take off when he joins Lil Twist on the Young Money rapper's upcoming mixtape. Lil Twist said the two have begun working on the project, with Bieber rapping over remixes of Travis McCoy's "Billionaire" and a Bruno Mars song. "It's in the works, we got a few records done, and every time we talk, we actually talk about this mixtape," Lil Twist said. ( MTV )
Ben E. King, Prince Royce Remake 'Stand By Me' for Latin Grammys
Talk about thinking on your feet. Tonight at the Latin Grammy Awards, newcomer Prince Royce will sing his hit "Stand By Me" alongside Ben E. King, the artist who originally wrote and recorded the hit back in the 1960s. But Royce and King were way ahead of the game. A couple of weeks ago, the two recorded the new cover version in New York for Top Stop Music, the label launched by producer Sergio George and to which Royce is signed. The track is already available for purchase on iTunes. Viewers who like the performance will immediately be able to purchase the track.
Jessica Simpson: 'I'm Extremely Happy' About Nick Lachey's Engagement
Despite reports that Jessica Simpson  is "flipping out" at the news of ex-husband Nick Lachey 's engagement to Vanessa Minnillo, the singer said that she couldn't be happier for the couple on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning. "I am extremely, extremely happy for him," says Simpson, who is currently dating former NFL player Eric Johnson. She added that her relationship with the former 98 Degrees  singer "was over a really long time ago, and it would be nice if everyone could move on with us and just celebrate the love between him and Vanessa." David Bowie's Wife Doesn't Expect Return to Music
David Bowie 's wife Iman has said that the legendary singer is staying busy outside of music and would not be returning to his signature profession anytime soon. "I will not make him do it because we love him so much that we want him to stay at home," she said about Bowie, who has not worked on any music in seven years. Miley Cyrus , Kid Rock , Taylor Swift  and Carlos Santana  featuring Gavin Rossdale have been added as performers at the 2010 American Music Awards, set to air from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on Nov. 21. The artists join previously announced performers Rihanna , Justin Bieber , Katy Perry , Ne-Yo , and Backstreet Boys  & New Kids on the Block , among others.
JC Chasez Scares Off Burglary Suspect
Former *NSYNC  singer JC Chasez  reportedly scared off a man last night who tried to break into his Hollywood home -- while he was inside. Hearing a noise, Chasez approached the intruder and began shouting at him until the suspect fled the scene. The singer soon called 911, but the unknown person was not found by policemen. ( TMZ )
