Radiohead's next Capitol album, "Amnesiac," will be released June 4 internationally. The band's North American press representatives could not be reached to comment on when the album will see the light of day in those territories, but an early June release seems likely.
In the meantime, a handful of "Amnesiac"-related promotions are already in the works. Band members Ed O'Brien and Colin Greenwood will be on hand at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, tonight (Jan. 24) to premiere two songs from the new set, as well as rare B-sides and video footage. A cyberbcast of the event begins at 8 p.m. Mountain time at the Warner Bros. Live Concert Series Web site.
Also, Radiohead fan site Follow Me Around reports that a live concert will be broadcast June 6 on French television, in conjunction with the release of "Amnesiac." As previously reported, the new album is the follow-up to the critically hailed "Kid A," which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and the U.K. album chart last fall.
