'N Sync has juggled its schedule and rejoined the Sept. 7 Michael Jackson tribute concert at New York's Madison Square Garden, a Jackson spokesperson confirms. Show organizers had issued a statement on Aug. 23 saying that 'N Sync's rehearsals for the MTV Video Music Awards would prevent the group from appearing at the Sept. 7 gig.
'N Sync will perform the song "Dancing Machine" with Michael Jackson and his brothers in the Jackson 5, the spokesperson said. As previously reported , a star-studded list of performers will participate in the Sept. 7 and 10 concerts, including Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, and Usher.
Tickets are still available from Ticketmaster for both shows, with the majority available for the Sept. 10 performance.

Third Eye Blind frontman Stephan Jenkins makes his acting debut in the upcoming film "Rock Star," playing the nemesis of the film's main character, portrayed by Mark Wahlberg. "I'm playing the guy I hated in high school," Jenkins tells Billboard. "I'm basically playing a wanna-be Kip Winger."
The movie, which opens Friday (Sept. 7), takes place in the mid-'80s and features Wahlberg as the lead singer in Blood Pollution (the fictional tribute band that honors fellow fictional act Steel Dragon), who is plucked to replace the frontman of Steel Dragon.
With a long, poufy hairdo that would make Winger proud, Jenkins plays Bradley, a singer who succeeds Wahlberg in Blood Pollution. Jenkins filmed his scenes in between tour dates. "Basically, I come in, Mark and I have a fight in the parking lot, I attack and molest his girlfriend -- played by Jennifer Aniston -- I kick him out of his band, and I got back on the plane to go back on tour," Jenkins says.
As previously reported , Third Eye Blind will join Seal, Jurassic 5, Liz Phair, Sugar Ray, and others for the Oct. 27 Breathe breast cancer benefit at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.
