Azealia Banks Performs '212' For Karl Lagerfeld: Watch

The fashion world has a new darling: Azealia Banks [1], Universal Music Group's latest signee. The "212" rapper performed her YouTube hit at Karl Lagerfeld's Paris home Wednesday night, just days after her music appeared in Mugler designer Nicola Formichetti's runway show.

Formichetti, a frequent Lady Gaga collaborator, is also working with Banks on her upcoming "Liquorice" video. But Lagerfeld seems particularly fond of the rising MC, gifting her a custom sweater [2] with his silhouette in homage to the Mickey Mouse top she wears in the "212" video.
