Music's hottest femmes are gracing the covers of March magazines. From Nicki Minaj 's pretty in pink Wonderland cover to Madonna 's candid interview in The Advocate, spring's sizzle has came early.
Nicki Minaj on Wonderland
Shot by photographer Matt Irwin, the Wonderland cover features the "Super Bass" rapstress in Prada's spring 2012 collection. Nicki channeled the Pink Ladies with a fiery Cadillac Coupe de Ville plastered across her chest. Her fierce look is polished off with a gold plated tooth necklace, gold snake ring, and icy earrings.
Within Wonderland, Nicki reveals that there are multiple sides to her, specifically two: the Nicki on stage and the Nicki at home. "Oh they're definitely two completely different people. Obviously what I would wear at home is not what I would wear up on stage and I think, when I'm at home it's a way more introspective character and I think the person people see on stage is anything but. I watch a lot of 'Judge Judy.' And I watch a lot of 'Forensic Files.' And I cook - I cook spaghetti really, really good; I cook macaroni and cheese really, really good; I cook chicken really, really good."
Lana del Rey on British Vogue
It's evident Lana Del Rey is ready for spring. On the March issue of British Vogue, shot by Mario Testino, the singer rocks a pale yellow cut-out blouse from Louis Vuitton's spring collection and packs a punch of punk with a three-fingered knuckle ring.
Madonna on The Advocate
The Queen of pop is drenched in swag on the cover of The Advocate.
Madonna talks about her new movie, "W.E.," her upcoming album "MDNA," and all things Lady Gaga . "It seems natural, and I can see why she has a young gay following," Madonna tells The Adovate. "I can see that they connect to her kind of not fitting into the conventional norm. I mean, she's not Britney Spears. She's not built like a brick s-house. She seems to have had a challenging upbringing, and so I can see where she would also have that kind of connection, a symbiotic relationship with gay men."
