Hit-Boy's been dubbed "an incredible producer... made one of the biggest records of all time" by Jay-Z himself -- now he's striking out as an MC.
Jay's words from a night on the "Watch the Throne" tour open the "Jay-Z Interview" video, the "Ni**as in Paris" producer's first venture as a solo artist.
"I got the coldest beats," Hit-Boy raps on the triumphant, horn-driven track, backed by footage with the G.O.O.D. Music crew in the studio and out on the town. Odd Future members, including Frank Ocean and Tyler, the Creator, also make appearances in the documentary clips.
While Hit-Boy gives his MC skills a thorough run-through on the track, he leaves production duties to Bink. The rapper-producer has yet to announce a full-length release for his solo material, though he'll have a hand in the G.O.O.D. Music ensemble album "Cruel Summer," expected later this year.
