"We could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke. As long as you love me, I'll be your platinum, I'll be your silver, I'll be your gold," Bieber promises in the song.
First released as a retail preview track to "Believe," it debuted last week on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 21 with download sales of 168,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Love Me" will now receive its official radio push when the label begins promoting it to top 40 and rhythmic radio stations on July 9.

The song has spent its first 12 weeks in the chart's top 10 and sold 2.5 million downloads. It also became his first top 10 on the top 40-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart .
