Justin Moore [1] started off the year touring with superstar Blake Shelton, and he's going to close 2012 on an equally high note -- as part of the Eric Church [2] tour.
"We've been real fortunate over the past couple of years to have been on a lot of major tours. I guess just about all of the ones out there, just about. I'm as excited about this one as any of them -- to be out there with Eric on the Blood, Sweat, and Beers tour."
He feels a musical kinship with the singer, and thinks that it is a good fit for the both artists, as well as their fan bases. "It might be the most sensible tour that we've done as far as the music goes. I think our fans are the same people, and our views on music are pretty similar."
The Blood, Sweat and Beers tour [3] kicks off Sept. 13 in Amherst, Mass. and continues into mid-December.
One song Moore will definitely be performing on tour will be his thought-provoking new ballad, "Til' My Last Day," currently at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs [4] chart.
He said of the song, "It's doing well out there. I think it's starting to hit its' stride. I thought it was going to be the quickest single to date. I don't know if people were stunned that we did something so down the middle or what, but it's doing well. It looks like we're about to have another big record. I hope that's the case."
Moore has also just released a sentimental video to promote the song. Watch It:
