The rapper also made amends with Fat Joe at the BET Hip-Hop Awards for the late Chris Lighty.
With a month away from the release of his fifth studio album, "Street King Immortal," 50 Cent drops his newest single, "First Date," today (Oct. 3).
"First Date," which is sonically reminiscent of his early 2000s mixtape days, comes two months after the release of his first single, "New Day." The first "Street King Immortal" track is still making noise on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs as it's currently at No. 59 on the chart.
Last Saturday (Sept. 29), 50 made personal stride as he and Fat Joe squashed their past beef at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Both rappers reconciled for the late Chris Lighty whom was honored at the award show with a tribute featuring both them, Busta Rhymes , A Tribe Called Quest , and Missy Elliott .
"Me and @Fatjoe did something that never happens in hip hop at the BET awards.SMSaudio," 50 tweeted today. "I have anger issues @Fatjoe has a lot of pride. We have money, we have influence. This combination could bring out the body bags. SmSaudio. We let it go for CHRIS we made a moment, but no one calls for cease fire with out respecting their opponent."
