Bon Jovi [1] dominates this week's Hot Tours chart with over $27 million in box office grosses reported from the first 10 venues on its 2011 tour. Dates are booked through the end of July with a summer leg planned for Europe, but the band began the year in North America with a sold out concert at Penn State University's Bryce Jordan Center on Feb. 9. Included among the February/March dates played during this first leg of the tour was a three-show stint at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Feb. 24-25 and March 5. Gross sales from all three sold out performances topped $7 million with a total of 53,249 tickets sold. New York had the only three-show engagement, with double-show runs were set in Pittsburgh, Toronto and Montreal. Pittsburgh's CONSOL Energy Center filled 34,144 seats with shows on Feb. 11-12, and Toronto's Air Canada Centre brought in the band on Feb. 14-15. Show dates at Bell Centre in Montreal were Feb. 18-19. Top totals among the venues with single performances came from Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center with a sellout crowd of 18,794 and $1.8 million in gross sales.

Ranking No. 2 on the current list of Hot Tours is Avenged Sevenfold [2] with more than $2.8 million in ticket sales reported from concerts during January and February which included fellow bands Stone Sour, Hollywood Undead and New Medicine. Dubbed the Nightmare After Christmas Tour, the 16-city trek kicked off with shows at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa. on Jan. 20 and Tsongas Center in Lowell, Mass. on Jan. 22. Those two performances were reported during a prior week, but adding their gross totals to the stats reported on this week's Hot Tours, the overall ticket sales from the tour are more than $3.3 million. The total attendance from all 16 performances is 96,234. The band will once again be headlining throughout North America later this spring on its Welcome To The Family Tour following a slate of tour dates in South America during early April.
