Speaking to Rolling Stone backstage at Coachella, the band members said they were more than happy to call a truce after Murphy called them out for refusing to grant Glee rights to "Use Somebody."
"I'm glad he said something," frontman Caleb Followill said. "We don't hold grudges."
Added drummer Nathan Followill, "I'll just be glad when I can check my Google alerts and don't have to read anything about us and Glee. That'll be a wonderful feeling."
The feud began when Murphy called Kings of Leon "self-centered assholes" in a THR cover story on Glee. Nathan Followill responded by telling Murphy to "See a therapist, get a manicure, buy a new bra" on Twitter, a remark Murphy called out for being homophobic.
Murphy eventually apologized for his initial comment, telling THR, "I think Kings of Leon are cool as shit...We'd love to do one if their songs, if they were ever interested. But if it's not their thing, then OK. I personally wish them luck will still listen to their music."
