Everyone pop fan in the world knows Lady Gaga [1]'s "Alejandro," but no one has ever heard it quite like this. In this week's Mashup Monday, Massachusetts rockers Dom [2] employ falsetto, accordion and tambourine to perform Gaga's megahit in their own way.

Dom's eponymously named frontman says the band's decision to cover Lady Gaga's song, which rose to No. 5 on the Hot 100 last year, was a simple one. "We decided to do 'Alejandro' because it rips" Dom says admiringly, adding that using the accordion came naturally. "I listened to [the song] and thought, 'This would sound really good with accordion."
While Gaga, of course, has become superstar in recent years, Dom, the band, is building up its budding fanbase by re-releasing debut EP "Sun Bronzed Greek Gods" this February and embarking on its first headlining tour, which began last month.
