Adele's  "21" (XL Recordings) scored a 13th aggregate week at No. 1 on the new U.K. album chart announced Sunday (May 1) by the Official Charts Company. For the third straight week, Britain's bestselling single is Party Rock Anthem" (Interscope/Universal), by LMFAO  featuring Lauren Bennett and Goonrock.
Adele's previous album "19" moved back 3-2 to give her the top two on the album chart for the fifth time this year. Liverpool guitar band the Wombats  reached the album top ten for the first time, debuting at No. 3 with their sophomore release "This Modern Glitch" (14th Floor/Warner Music). The album follows "A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation," which peaked at No. 11 in November 2007.
Bruno Mars  enjoyed a good week on both the albums and singles listings, edging 7-6 with his "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" set (Elektra/Warner Music) and racing 15-2 with his latest single, "The Lazy Song." Radiohead's  "The King of Limbs" (Ticker Tape/XL Recordings) soared 32-7 in its fifth week, and electronic duo Chase & Status  climbed 16-10 with "No More Idols" (Mercury/Universal). Its current single "Time," featuring Delilah, improved 51-38.
The other new title in the top 20 of the album chart was Jennifer Hudson's  "I Remember Me" (Arista/Sony Music Entertainment), while "Now That's What I Call Music! 78" (EMI Virgin/UMTV) started a third week at No. 1 on the compilation chart.
The LMFAO single outsold Mars' "The Lazy Song" by a margin of 40% and continues to lead a top 10 that also showed Jennifer Lopez's  former No. 1, "On The Floor" (Def Jam/Universal), holding at No. 3. There were climbs of one place each for "Beautiful People" (RCA/Sony Music Entertainment) by Chris Brown  featuring Benny Benassi  at No. 4, Snoop Dogg's  "Sweat" (Capitol/EMI) at No. 5 and "ET" (Virgin/EMI) by Katy Perry  featuring Kanye West  at No. 6. London electronic duo Nero arrived at No. 8 with "Guilt" (MTA).
