"Die Hard," the next single from Dr. Dre [1]'s endlessly delayed "Detox" album featuring Eminem [2], will be unveiled during Friday's episode of Showtime's "Fight Camp 360°: Pacquiao vs. Moseley." The world premiere was announced in a promo for the boxing show, which focuses on the upcoming Manny Pacquiao-"Sugar" Shane Mosley fight and will air its final episode on Friday (May 6).
"Die Hard" is the third official single from "Detox," following "Kush" and the Eminem-assisted "I Need a Doctor," which the two rappers performed at the Grammy Awards ceremony last February. While "Doctor" resides at No. 16 in its 12th week on the Hot 100, "Detox" -- which Dre has been prepping for over a decade -- still does not have a release date.
Eminem, who is slated to headline Bonnaroo [3] and Lollapalooza [4] this summer, recently announced a joint EP with Shady Records MC Royce Da 5'9" [5] that will hit stores on June 14. As for Dr. Dre, the veteran rapper won a lawsuit against Death Row Records [6], which stated that a new incarnation of the label does not have the rights to digitally sell Dre's classic album "The Chronic," last month.
