Every party needs a pre-game warmup and Lollapalooza 2011 was no exception. To fete the festival's 20th anniversary, Billboard and The Syndicate teamed up to host a sold-out Conflict of Interest party at Chicago's famed Double Door on Thursday night (Aug. 4).
By the time London-based noise rockers The Joy Formidable played their raucous headline set, the enthusiastic (and packed) crowd were already treated to the worldly (via Michigan) sounds of Lord Huron, the San Diego blues duo Little Hurricanes and Detroit's own Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. , who wore matching "Your Ad Here" t-shirts to compliment their brand of peculiar electro-pop.
Watch highlights from the concert (which was sponsored by HP, Intel and Windows 7).
