T.I. To Be Released on Wednesday?
T.I. is reportedly leaving the Forrest City Correctional Facility in Arkansas for a halfway house on Wednesday (Aug. 31), after spending 11 months in prison for a parole violation. DJ Drama, T.I.'s frequent collaborator, posted on Twitter , "8/31 -- #kingback, @Tip." Calls to representatives for the Grand Hustle rapper were not returned by press time. ( MTV )
Sebastian Bach's Home Destroyed in Hurricane
Hurricane Irene has destroyed the New Jersey home of Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, and with it the rocker lost Skid Row master tapes and other memorabilia. "I am numb, in shock, & devastated to report that my home of 21 years … has been destroyed, condemned, & deemed uninhabitable," Bach posted on Facebook. ( People )
Justin Bieber YouTube Videos Momentarily Removed
A technical glitch wiped several of Justin Bieber's videos from YouTube early Monday morning. Fans looking for the videos were met with the message "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by iLCreation."
Vevo, which hosts the Bieber microsite, said that iLCreation had filed the copyright claim erroneously. The company said via Twitter Monday, "We are working on false copyright claims on Bieber, Gaga YouTube videos ASAP. All videos always on VEVO." ( THR )

Solange Knowles in Police Argument Over Giant Banana
While her sister Beyonce was getting ready to announce her pregnancy, Solange Knowles was involved in an argument with police in Miami over an inflatable banana she was trying to carry into a nightclub. Demi Lovato Fires Back at Weight Critics
Demi Lovato wants to let those who were critical of her appearance at last night's MTV Video Music Awards that she does not care what they say or think about her weight. "Guess what, I'm healthy and happy, and if you're hating on my weight you obviously aren't. :)" the pop singer posted on Twitter after the ceremony kicked off.
