Cazzette, the Swedish EDM pair whose debut album "eject" was launched via Spotify last month, rolls out the album's second installment via the streaming music service today (December 11) and the trailer for "Weapon" tomorrow. But you can check out the sleek, literally kick-ass trailer exclusively here first on Billboard.com in the player below.
In the video clip, the DJ duo, which consists of 23-year-old Alexander Björklund and 19-year old Sebastian Furrer, dress the snippets of "Weapon" in slow-mo visuals that are by turns sexy and violent. A woman dresses, infiltrates a card game, and incites a balletic melee.
While Cazzette's current tune "Beam Me Up (Kill-Mode)" enjoys a top 10 spot on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (and its video soars beyond 1.4 million plays on YouTube), part two of "eject" -- which showcases the tracks "Weapon," "Surrender" and "Endorphin" can be heard below via Spotify.
Björkland says that the unique arrangement of releasing Cazzette's music on Spotify brings the twosome a welcome flexibility. "We have a lot of freedom to release whenever we want," Björklund told Billboard in November. "We're not tied down to any release schedule. And we can add whatever content we like to our own application within Spotify. It's an entirely different approach."
