Former Mercury artist Jamie O'Neal has signed with Capitol Records. She is currently in the studio finishing her first album for the label with producer Keith Stegall, for release in early 2005. A single is expected this summer.

O'Neal's gold-certified debut album, "Shiver," was released in 2000 and peaked at No. 14 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Her first two singles, "There Is No Arizona," and "When I Think About Angels," went to No. 1 on the country chart, but four subsequent singles were all mid-charters. She was released from Mercury last year.
