The Orchard maintains online rights.
New York-based Razor & Tie has picked up "Bronx In Blue," the well-reviewed blues album from Dion DiMucci, and will begin rolling out the album to traditional retailers. Previously, "Bronx In Blue" was available only from online outlets.
The album was released online Jan. 10 and was distributed to Web retailers via the Orchard, who will maintain control of the album's digital rights. On "Bronx In Blue," the doo-wop legend offers stripped-down versions of songs from Robert Johnson, Bo Diddley, Willie Dixon, Hank Williams and Jimmy Reed, among others.
The independently-owned Razor & Tie is distributed by Sony BMG.
