Lee Adams, the national director of promotion for Nashville-based independent Broken Bow Records, has risen to VP of promotion for the label. She replaces Jon Loba, who exited in August for a similar position at a yet to be announced label.
Adams has been with BBR since 2001 and has served in various promotion positions.
In another move at BBR, Nancy Johnson will join as director of promotion for the Southeast region on Oct. 30. She replaces JoJamie Hahr, who is exiting, also for an undisclosed position. Johnson, who has been an independent songplugger for the past year, previously held regional promotion positions at Capitol Records and Big Machine Records.
Additionally, BBR Southwest regional Mark Janese is exiting for the Southwest regional position at BNA Records. Janes, who spent 15 years at Columbia and Epic Nashville before joining BBR last year, replaces Scott Long, who exits.
