Kobalt Music Group has signed an exclusive administration deal for the world outside the United States and Canada with Detroit-based Bridgeport Music.

The Bridgeport-Westbound music catalog features original funk, soul and gospel copyrights by George Clinton, Parliament-Funkadelic, the Ohio Players and other Detroit-based artists.

It is one of the most heavily-sampled catalogs, licensed for such artists as Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, N.W.A, Jay-Z, Tupac, Redman, De La
Soul, Notorious BIG and Mary J. Blige.
