Steven Van Zandt of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and wife Maureen visited Bronx, N.Y. last week for a Little Kids Rock program at I.S. 162 Lola Rodriguez De Tio Academy of Future Technologies.
The famous couple, both of whom starred in HBO's "The Sopranos," donated 10 acoustic guitars, five electric guitars and two amps to the kids after playing with them and answering questions at a Q&A.
The Little Kids Rock group performed Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory," which features Van Zandt's former bandmate Clarence Clemmons, and Elvis' "A Little Less Conversation," before being joined onstage by Steven for the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction."

The Van Zandts' donation added to a program which has given 4,000 instruments to music programs in New York Public Schools and more than 30,000 instruments to 800 Little Kids Rock schools nationwide.
Maureen is a member of Little Kids Rock's New York metro area Board of Directors, and the couple will host the program's third-annual Right to Rock benefit at the Edison Ballroom in New York on Oct. 20.
