Longtime mun2 manager Roberto Isaac has been promoted to director of music programming, the bilingual cable network has announced.
Isaac, who joined the network as manager of music programming in 2006, will continue to lead and develop the network's music programming strategy and, in addition, will supervise original series.
The new role will also allow Isaac, who has also worked in radio as a consultant, to collaborate with producers in music branding, platforms and new media.
"His extensive experience and expertise in radio is a natural fit for developing lifestyle brands for young Latino Americans, said Flavio Morales, senior VP of programming and production, in a statement. "Under his direction over the last five years, mun2 has become the music leader for bilingual, bicultural Latinos in the U.S."
During his tenure at mun2, Isaac has helped develop the music brand of several shows including "RPM Miami," "From Beyond," and the popular Jenni Rivera program, "I Love Jenni."
Isaac has developed on-air campaigns for several Latin recording artists including Wisin y Yandel, Jenni Rivera, Don Omar, Aventura, Daddy Yankee, Intocable and Calle 13.
Before joining mun2, Isaac was the head of operations for Entravision Communications in Los Angeles where he developed talent, event and music strategy.
