  • BEST | Who let James Bond onto the Red Carpet? Beau to the lovely Ms. Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, looked classic and dashing a black suit and sideways comb hair 'do.

  • WORST | Performing "Moves Like Jagger" in a too-tight Roberto Cavalli dress, complete with untamed hair, Christina Aguilera looked a bit untidy and chaotic. The white bandeau dress was so tight, in fact, that twitter erupted with a frenzy of pregnancy speculations.

  • BEST | Encouraging the great Nicki Minaj to bow at her presence on stage, Taylor Swift sparkled in a Reem Acra strapless gown. The "Mine" rapper finished off her charming look with emerald earrings and a casual sideways ponytail. Too casual? Nah, just right.

  • WORST | Katy Perry performed her latest single, "The One That Got Away," in a space age dress and matching pink guitar. The pink deluge continued as pink-tinged light beams flittered and danced behind Perry during her performance.

  • BEST | Jennifer Hudson looked gorgeous in a creation by Jenny Packham, Kate Middleton's go-to designer, as she arrived on the red carpet at the AMAs.

  • WORST | Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry proved that there is such a thing as too much lace. The singer stepped out in a Bottega Veneta black lace cocktail dress complete with a gold and gray toned bustier that was already worn by Emma Stone back at the MTV Movie Awards in June.

  • BEST | Young Hollywood met Old Hollywood as Selena Gomez revealed what a stunning brunette bombshell she is, shining in a pewter satin gown by Giorgio Armani.

  • WORST | Did Lance Bass go straight from the office to the red carpet? The former NSYNC star looked a bit too corporate in a blue suit and pinstripe shirt.

  • BEST | Receiving the face Latin artist award, Jennifer Lopez looked like she stepped out of a modern day fairytale in an enchanting black Zuhair Murad Fall 2011 couture gown.

  • WORST | Hopefully Lil Jon will be traveling to a cold climate after the AMAs! The rapper stepped onto the red carpet in snow boots, a green and red plaid shirt, matching sweater and blue tie, which was topped off with a black blazer.

  • BEST | The always sweet and graceful Estelle sparkled in an Alberto Makali white and black sequin cocktail dress.

  • WORST | Will.i.am, normally quite dapper, looked a bit too casual in a green varsity jacket, black and white kicks, and large round reading glasses. Boom Boom NO.

  • BEST | Hot Chelle Rae singer Ryan Follese (second from left) looked vampire chic in an all black look finished off with a deep crimson satin blazer and cream loafers.

  • WORST | Amy Heidemann of viral music duo Karmin shocked in all the wrong ways in a black and purple dress, blue wedges, and a red belt. Word to the wise: It is best to keep your color obsession in the coloring books and not on your back.
