Yellowcard Storms Through 'Paper Walls' In July

Florida rock act Yellowcard has set a July 17 release date for its third Capitol album, "Paper Walls." First single "Light Up the Sky" and album track "Fighting" can be sampled from the band's Web site. Yellowcard will spend three weeks this summer on the Vans Warped Tour, beginning June 29 in Pomona, Calif.

"[After] five months of work ... I have to say we are so proud and excited to give these songs to you all," frontman Ryan Key wrote on the band's MySpace.com site. "As the dude who writes the words, I had so much to say and didn't even know it. When I listen now, it is awesome to hear what has actually been going on in this head of mine for the last year or so compiled into one body of work."

"Paper Walls" is the follow-up to 2006's "Lights and Sounds," which peaked at No. 5 on The Billboard 200. The title cut reached No. 4 on Billboard's Modern Rock chart.

As were Yellowcard's first two full-lengths, the new album was produced by Neal Avron. Tracks include the ballad "Shadows and Regrets," the surging closer "Paper Walls" and "Dear Bobbie," which features Key's grandfather reading a love letter to his wife of 58 years. The album will also be available as a CD/DVD edition with two live tracks and behind-the-scenes footage.

Here is the track list for "Paper Walls":

"The Takedown"
"Fighting"
"Shrink the World"
"Keeper"
"Light Up the Sky"
"Shadows and Regrets"
"Five Becomes Four"
"Afraid"
"Date Line (I Am Gone)"
"Dear Bobbie"
