Three Windham Hill acts have signed on for the label's third annual "Winter Solstice" tour. This year's outing, booked by the Brad Simon Organization, features David Arkenstone, Liz Story, and newly signed group Angels Of Venice. Dates will start around Thanksgiving and continue into January 2000.
A new album in the "Winter Solstice" series, featuring the acts on the tour and others, will be out in the fall. In addition, a TV special, "Winter Solstice On Ice," will air on A&E in conjunction with the tour, featuring top skaters performing to the music of Windham Hill artists. A soundtrack and video of the program will be sold.
