Wallflowers 'Breach' The Wait For New Album

Rock outfit the Wallflowers, fronted by Jakob Dylan, will release "Breach" Oct. 10 on Interscope, the group's first album since 1996's "Bringing Down The Horse." Continuing in much the same roots-tinged rock vein of "Horse," the album features guest appearances from in-demand producer/instrumentalist Jon Brion as well Elvis Costello, who sings backup on "Murder 101."

Andy Slater and Michael Penn produced the new set, the first single from which will be "Sleepwalker." Alongside spare tracks such as "Witness" and "Up From Under" are meatier cuts such as opener "Letters From The Wasteland" and closer "Birdcage," which is split into two distinct sections by 30 seconds of silence.

"Bringing Down The Horse" peaked at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 4.1 million copies in the U.S., according to SoundScan. The album spawned four top-20 hits on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart, including "One Headlight" (No. 1) and "The Difference" (No. 5).
