Back to SXSW coverage

Billboard.com's SXSW 2010 coverage is delivered via Sprint 4G.

The Soft Pack, the buzz-worthy San Diego indie band (that changed their name from The Muslims when it caused unintended controversy), played their first show of many at South by Southwest on March 18, and our cameras were there at Stubb's to capture their high-energy set. We also caught up with the band afterword for some chit-chat, where they disussed how they captured the energy of their live performance on their excellent self-titled debut.

The Soft Pack has spent 3 weeks on the Heatseekers Album Chart and is currently seated at No. 27. Stay tuned to Billboard.com all weekend for more excluvie SXSW performances, interviews, news and more.
