This week's Billboard cover star Brett Michaels landed at No. 30 on our list as the prime example of how starring in a cable TV reality show is one of the best ways for a musician to attain maximum exposure.

Bret Michaels and his very real six-pack recently graced the cover of Billboard's Maximum Exposure issue because of his ongoing success showcasing his music through reality television. And now, Billboard.com is exclusively premiering the music video for "Riding Against The Wind," a tune from Michaels' latest album "Custom Built" that also doubles as the theme song for his new VH1 reality show "Life As I Know It."
As with the very personal, up-close view of Bret's Michael's family and music life featured on "Life As I Know It" - which premieres on VH1 on Oct. 18 at 10pm ET - the video for "Riding Against The Wind" shows scenes of the Poison rocker on the road and at home with his daughters and their mom.
In July, "Custom Built" debuted at No. 1 on the Hard Rock Albums and Independent Albums charts and at No. 14 on the Billboard 200.
