Back to SXSW coverage

Billboard.com's SXSW 2010 coverage is delivered via Sprint 4G.

Los Angeles Latin/ hip-hop/ rock fusionists Ozomatli flew down to Austin, Tx. this past weekend to premiere tracks from their anticipated forthcoming album, "Fire Away," to the South By Southwest masses. We caught up with three members of the group, who gave us a stripped-down "campfire version" of the album's funky, socially conscious first single "Its Only Paper," which they wrote with Jack Johnson.

"Fire Away," the Grammy Award-winning band's fifth full-length, is set for an April 20 release on Mercer Street Records / Downtown Records. Stay tuned to Billboard.com all weekend for more excluvie SXSW performances, interviews, news and more.
