Back to SXSW coverage

Billboard.com's SXSW 2010 coverage is delivered via Sprint 4G.

A crotch-grabbing, crowd-surfing Courtney Love drew a capacity horde at the Dirty Dog Bar last night as SXSW-goers curious to check out Hole's latest material and incarnation twelve years after its last studio album. Billboard.com stayed up to catch video of the band's 2 a.m. set.

Anyone looking for a live spectacle certainly got it at the Austin, Texas joint on 6th Street as Love powered through a twelve-song set that featured new tunes (the title track from "Nobody's Daughter," out in April), classics from Hole's 1994 heyday ("Violet") and all points between (1998's "Celebrity Skin"). And yes, it was on purpose that the "Miss World" singer wore a pageant-like sash bearing the word "Beware."
